On September 17, 2013 during the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival, Genie hosted the launch event for its Genie “Century Classics” limited edition series of wristwatches at Zhongbai Building in Weifang, Shandong. Li Xiaoran, its brand spokesperson and a film and TV celebrity, showed up at the event to congratulate on the event.
Genie was founded in 1919 and has passed down its classical watch-making craftsmanship to present over its century of development. The Genie “Century Classics” limited edition series of wristwatches launched this time was meant to mark the upcoming 100th anniversary of Genie. 999 Genie wristwatches of this limited edition would be marketed globally, while Genie promised that it would hold a lottery-drawing activity as a way of appreciating the collectors of this model in September 2019.
